By evening, our menu turns indulgent with beautifully cooked, hearty plates and decadent puddings – and come Sunday, we’re dishing up the Village’s finest Sunday roasts (golden, gloriously crisp potatoes included).

Our talented, ingredient-obsessed Head Chef is proud to champion British farmers and masterful producers, weaving their fresh-from-the-fields, flavour-packed ingredients into every one of his meticulously crafted, one-more-bite-worthy dishes (we won’t judge). Sourcing locally is at the heart of our menu, with best-in-season, just-harvested ingredients (think blushingly ripe tomatoes, peppery farm-grown leaves, and buttery-soft day-boat seafood) taking centre stage. Every bite is a celebration of the season, from earth-kissed vegetables to line-caught fish landed that very morning in Brixham Harbour.

Our talented Head Chef brings each ingredient to life with their signature touch, turning every dish into something special (it’s what we’re known for, after all).

Sipping on a silky-smooth cocktail by our glowing, fire-warmed hearth (trust us, it’s as snug as it gets) is the ultimate way to round off your evening. We take our mixology seriously, and every pour is pure magic – especially our deeply roasted, expertly shaken Espresso Martini (an all-time favourite). One sip, and you’ll see why.

Our Sunday roasts are all about tender, melt-in-your-mouth meats, sky-high Yorkshire puddings, irresistible sides, and plenty of rich, pour-it-on proper pub gravy. To finish, our puddings are pure comfort-in-a-bowl, best enjoyed with a “let’s-make-this-a-habit” pint by our fire. It’s the highlight of our week, no doubt.

Rugby and top-tier dining? Now that’s a winning combo (because game days deserve more than just a bag of crisps). We’re showing all of the Six Nations action live, and we’re serving up the ultimate match-day feast.

Think Chicken liver parfait with toasted sourdough and a rich, flavour-packed plum jam (because even half-time snacks should be one-for-the-books). Our crisp, golden Ox cheek croquettes with truffled horseradish mayo and caerphilly (so good, you might forget about the scoreboard) are also a certified crowd-pleaser.

Pair it all with a perfectly-poured pint or a bold, full-bodied red (we can do it all). Game days here aren’t just watched, they’re devoured.

Been twice now for Sunday lunch, it's absolutely fantastic. A terrific value Sunday roast with all the trimmings. Proper vegetables as well, I would definitely recommend ordering a side of cauliflower cheese. We had a bottle of Malbec with our roast beef, which was great value. Superb.

Great spot! It was busy but got two seats at the bar. Gui the bartender made fabulous cocktails and made us feel super welcome. The food was delicious. Highly recommend if you are looking for a nice pub with good food and great service.

We had a lovely evening at the Firestables with our kids and their partners. We shared some starters and then had individual mains which were all well presented and delicious. The friendly service and the relaxed atmosphere made our evening very enjoyable. Gorgeous Espresso Martinis to finish. Great venue!
